オリジナルラップフープ

ちょっと贅沢なフープです。
いわゆる刺繍枠のようなものです。
これをキルトラインを縫うときに使います。
普通は、台座がなくフープを手に持って使うのですけど、
これには手づくりの台がついています。
最初はカメラの三脚にとりつけられるようなものとして
開発されたのですけど
オリジナルな台がついています。
角度も自在に変えられて、非常に便利なものです。

パッチワーク歴は、カントリードール歴ほどに長くも
ないのですけど
贅沢なこのフープを手に入れてしまいました。
このフープを使用した方が、
体に負担なく長時間、続けることができるだろうなと
思えたからです。
実際、４年越しになるこの作品は、３センチに満たない
大きさの中に納まる八角形を縫い合わせています。
このような小さなピースにキルトラインを入れるには
強い味方になるのではないでしょうか。
昨日一ヶ月ぶりにパッチワークの教室にも
参加することが出来ました。
その課題作品のかたわらにこのキルトにも
かかっていきたいなと思っています。
