夢キルト

夢という文字をパッチワークで
作ってみることにしました。
それは、私が考えたのではなく、
図書館で借りたパッチワークの本に
図案が出ていたんです。
でもその通りにするのではおもしろくないので
ちょっと手がかかるのですけど、
22mmのヘクサゴンのペーパーライナーを使って
小さな布を継ぎ合わせたもので
文字を作ることにしました。
22mmの六角形の布であっても色柄によって
表情がひとつひとつ変わります。
９月に和布の福袋セットを購入していますから
和布のうち赤の系統の布を引っ張り出して
最初に段階を作り始めたものがこの写真です。

このように公言すると
必然的に行動に移さざるを得なくなります。
けれども自分で自分を追い込んでいく、というのは、
何かを成し遂げるのには大切な行為でもありますよね。
